Michael Gaffney was proud to have many images selected from his collection for the Ken Burns film on Ali. This rare image captures Muhammad Ali winning the Heavyweight Championship for an unprecedented third time. This feat stands today, having never been accomplished before or since.

Michael Gaffney's interview with Lester Holt was made while Muhammad Ali was seriously ill in the Scottsdale, AZ hospital surrounded by his family on June 3, 2016.
A few hours after this interview, after a 32 year courageous struggle with Parkinson's, Muhammad Ali passed away.

Port Authority of New York/New Jersey Hosts Muhammad Ali Exhibit
The largest bus terminal in the world, The Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC hosted a massive tribute photo exhibition to Muhammad Ali. It was viewed by thousands of passerby's who admired one of the most extraordinary people of our lifetime.
